Monica Koch was the top MER Poster Award Winner, garnering $250.00 for the poster "Impact of WOC Nurse Role on the Pressure Ulcer Rate in a Small Community Hospital". Congratulating her is Dea Kent, President MER.

The one entitled "Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis (IAD) in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Facility: A prospective Study was the resultant of the Grant Awarded to her at the 2008 WOCN Conference. The other posters she submitted were: 1) Managing Exudative Wounds While Protecting Peri-Wound Skin and Promoting Patient Comfort Using Soft Silicone-Exudate Transfer Dressing. 2) The Use of a Collagen Alginate to Accelerate the Healing Process of Undermined and Tunneled Tissue in Conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy.
